What can i expect if i buy my kitchen from Kitchen Technic?

Well, apart from the obvious quality of the units, which are as good as, or superior to any thing on the market we are based in N. Ireland. All of our stock is sourced locally and as such, we can provide a very fast service to any part of Ireland or the UK, leaving you the customer with your kitchen finished in good time. You can expect to get good advice and service from this company; we do not promise the world we only promise what is possible.

I have been checking out kitchens on the highstreet. Can you tell me what the major differences if any! are between theirs and yours?

Well let us start with the carcases,

1/ Our carcases are made from 18mm high density mfc and they are colour cordinated, this means that whatever door you select we will match it's finish to the carcase, this feature wouldn't apply with the painted doors due to the many various colours available within this range.

2/ Our kitchens are also available in Rigid as well as flat pack.

I know people who still have an unfinished kitchen after weeks because of missing components.

Our kitchen designs are generated using a Computer Aided system, the order is compiled from the drawing provided by the computer (see example). The quotation is presented to you with a photo for each appliance, and a thumbnail drawing for each piece of furniture this provides transparency for you to easily check that what you have ordered is indeed! what you will receive. We will not ship uncompleted orders to any one. How ever, in the event that anything is missing or damaged there will be a rapid response whether you live in England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales, you will not be waiting for weeks on any parts.

Kitchen styles - which is the cheapest and which is the most expensive ?

Generally speaking the Painted Solid wood and the Solid wood doors would be the more expensive, with painted and PVC / foil wrapped coming next in that order.

When do I pay and how long from the time you confirm my order until delivery?

We require 50% on order by credit card, with the 50% remaining paid on delivery (by bankers draft) or online by card prior to delivery, unless you are using our finance facility, which involves a small deposit, the kitchen will be with you in three weeks, five weeks if you are using finance (due to the 14 day statutory cooling off period).

Does the colour of your kitchen units match the doors?

All of our units will be supplied with the carcase matching the door as standard, there are some exceptions such as High Gloss Black, where black edging will be used to match the doors.

What happens if a part of my kitchen is, damaged on delivery or damaged by my fitter, will I have to wait for weeks to have it replaced?

Rest assured that we will have the missing or damaged component to you wherever you are in the UK or Ireland, within three days. A charge will be levied, (only to cover our costs which will be kept to the minimum) if the damage is caused by yourself or your fitter.

Can you fit my kitchen.

Kitchen Technic is a kitchen supply only company; however, we recognise that quite a lot of our customers would like help with organising the installation of their kitchen, as well as the assurance that the people they get are properly qualified to do the job. With this in mind, we recommend only installers affiliated to the following institutions, the iKBBI who represent the kitchen fitting industry, and Fairtrades, who represent the home improvements sector. Fairtrades also provide Insurance Backed Installation Guarantees for the kitchen installation through Homepro. Any installer that we recommend to you will have to be a member of both of these bodies, they will also be able to supply the previously mentioned Insurance Backed Guarantee as well as all of the ancillary trades involved in kitchen installation, I,E Electrician, Plumber, Tiler and Plasterer. Kitchen Technic is providing this service free of charge. We will not be charging you the customer nor will we be levying a fee to any of the trade’s people involved, therefore Kitchen Technic will not be held responsible for any issues arising from the installation of our kitchens other than those that involve the quality of the kitchens we supply. We regret that due to constraints imposed with the insurance cover that we are not able to offer this insurance to our customers in the Republic of Ireland.

How much room will the kitchen take up when it is delivered?

Flatpack kitchens can generally fit into most rooms, however you will need to plan ahead for Rigid units and make as much room as you can.

What happens if i order granite?

Contact Kitchen Technic when the kitchen is installed and we will arrange to have the templates made, this service is only available in N.Ireland and the Republic of Ireland at the moment.

I’ve made a mistake on my order, what can I do?

Try and let us know as quickly as possible, providing that the mistake isn't terribly big we should be able to accommodate you, but put it this way in keeping with the civilised ethic we employ in our dealings with our customers we will make every effort to remedy the problem.

Will you deliver anywhere?.

Distance is no object, we will deliver anywhere to ground floor level, if you live in high rise accomodation we would advise that you have help at hand to assist in the delivery.

Is VAT included in the prices?

Yes, VAT is included at the current rate of 15% or 20% for the Republic of Ireland.
