In conjunction with the elevations above they provide all the information that the trades people involved in your project need to place every pipe, track spur & socket completely avoiding any conflicts with the carcases to be installed, and with the abundance of dimensions shown the need for scaling the drawing with the risks involved are completely eliminated.
